How to
Activate your smartwatch
To use mobile network services on your smartwatch, you need to insert your SIM into your smartwatch.
List view
Turn on your smartwatch
Tap and hold On/Off until your smartwatch is turned on.
Choose language
Tap the required language.
Tap Confirm.
Enter your PIN
If your SIM is locked, key in your PIN and tap the confirm icon. The default PIN is 0000.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service. Please note: If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.

Log on with Spacetalk account
On your mobile phone: Tap Spacetalk.
Make sure you've installed the Spacetalk app on your mobile phone.
On your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to create a Spacetalk account or tap Already have an account? Login.
On your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to key in your email address and password and tap Next.
Turn on notifications
On your mobile phone: Tap the indicator next to "Notifications" to turn on the function.
On your mobile phone: Tap Allow.
Turn on location sharing
On your mobile phone: Tap the indicator next to "Location" to turn on the function.
On your mobile phone: Tap While using the app.
On your mobile phone: Tap Done.
Connect your smartwatch and your mobile phone
Place your smartwatch next to your mobile phone.
On your mobile phone: Tap Add Wearable.
On your mobile phone: Tap Adventurer.
On your mobile phone: Tap Next.
On your mobile phone: Tap Next.
On your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to create a new family member smartwatch user or tap the required family member.
On your mobile phone: Tap watch phone number and key in the phone number associated with your smartwatch.
On your mobile phone: Tap Next.
On your mobile phone: Tap While using the app.
Tap Tap to pair.
Tap Start.
Tap the screen.
Place the displayed QR code inside the phone camera frame to scan the code.
On your mobile phone: Tap Yes.
Accept end-user agreement
On your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to accept the terms and conditions and tap Next.
Set up your smartwatch as a new smartwatch
On your mobile phone: Tap Set up new watch.
If you've backed up content previously, you can restore the content.
Add emergency contact
On your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to add an emergency contact and tap Next.
Finish setup
When this screen is displayed, your smartwatch is activated and synchronised with your mobile phone.
Tap Get started.
On your mobile phone: Tap Continue and follow the instructions on the screen to take out a Spacetalk subscription if you don't already have one.
You will need a Spacetalk subscription to fully utilise your smartwatch.
