Guide to keys and sockets on mobile phone
The list below shows you what the different keys and sockets on your mobile phone are used for.
List view
On/Off
Tap On/Off to turn your mobile phone on or off.
Tap On/Off to turn on the screen lock.
The Home key
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
The Return key
Tap the Return key to return to the previous screen.
The Application key
Tap the Application key to open a list of the most recently used applications.
Fingerprint sensor
Place the tip of your finger on the fingerprint sensor to unlock your mobile phone.
The Volume key
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to adjust the ring volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key during a call to adjust the volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to silence the incoming call alert.
The Bixby key
Tap the Bixby key to access the Bixby menu.
Socket
Connect the charger or data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
Headset socket
Connect the headset to the headset socket to listen to music or make a handsfree call.
Camera lens at the back of your mobile phone
Point the camera lens at the back of your mobile phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.
