Choose message tone
You can select the message tone you want to hear when you get a message.
List view
Find "Notifications"
Slide your finger upwards on the screen.
Tap Samsung.
Tap Messages.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Notifications.
Turn on notifications
Tap the indicator next to "Show notifications" to turn on the function.
Select message tone
Tap New messages ‹SIM›.
Tap Sound.
Tap the different message tones to hear them.
Once you've found a message tone you like, tap the Return key.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Slide your finger upwards on the screen.
Tap Samsung.
Tap Messages.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Notifications.
Tap the indicator next to "Show notifications" to turn on the function.
