Turning use of phone lock code on my mobile phone on or off
If you want to prevent others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (such as pictures and messages), you need to turn on the phone lock code. Once done, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your mobile phone. The phone lock code doesn't protect your mobile phone against unauthorised use. Your SIM is protected by turning on your PIN.

1. Find "lock screen"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap ALL SETTINGS.
Tap ALL SETTINGS.
Tap lock screen.
2. Choose option
Choose one of the following options:
Turn on use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Turn off use of phone lock code, go to 2b.
Turn on use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Turn off use of phone lock code, go to 2b.
3. 2a - Turn on use of phone lock code
Tap the indicator next to "Pasword" until the function is turned on.
Key in the required phone lock code.
Key in the required phone lock code.
Tap the field below "Confirm password" and key in the phone lock code.
Tap done to confirm.
4. 2b - Turn off use of phone lock code
Tap the indicator next to "Pasword" until the function is turned off.
Enter the phone lock code to confirm.
Enter the phone lock code to confirm.
5. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Choose one of the following options:
Turn on use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Turn off use of phone lock code, go to 2b.
