I can't charge my Apple Watch

If you can't charge your Apple Watch, there may be several causes of the problem.

If you're using a third party charger, charging may not function correctly.

Solution: Make sure you use the included charger for your Apple Watch when charging it.

If the charger is connected to a malfunctioning power point, your Apple Watch will not charge.

Solution: Try connecting the charger to a different power point.

To charge your Apple Watch, it needs to be connected to the charger correctly.

Solution: Charge battery

If dirt has accumulated on the back of your Apple Watch or on the magnetic charger, or if the charging cable is not fully pressed into the USB adapter, it may prevent the battery from charging.

Solution: Make sure there's no dirt or dust on the back of your Apple Watch or on the magnetic charger. Then check that the charging cable is fully pressed into the power adapter and that the the power point is turned on. If this doesn't help, try connecting the charging cable to another power adapter and another power point.

If the charger is faulty, you can't charge your Apple Watch.

Solution: Go to the Apple website to see if it's possible to have the charger replaced.

If the battery is faulty, you can't charge your Apple Watch.

Solution: Go to the Apple website to see if it's possible to change the battery.
