Use Focus

You can set your mobile phone to a specific focus mode helping you filter notifications and calls if you don't want to be disturbed.


List view

Find "Focus"

Tap Settings.
Tap Focus.

Select focus mode

Tap the required focus mode.

Select contacts

Tap People and follow the instructions on the screen to select which contacts you would like to receive calls and notifications from when the selected focus mode is active.

Select apps

Tap Apps and follow the instructions on the screen to select which apps you would like to receive notifications from when the selected focus mode is active.

Select lock and home screen settings

Tap the required screen type and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required settings.
You can select which apps and widgets to be displayed on the lock and home screen in the selected focus mode. See how to select lock screen settings.

Select settings for automatic activation of focus mode

Tap the required setting below "TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY" and follow the instructions on the screen to set up automatic activation of the selected focus mode.
You can set your mobile phone to activate the selected focus mode for a specified period of time, at a specific location or while using a specific app.

Add focus filters

Tap Add Filter.
Using focus filters you can select what app content to be displayed in specific apps, such as calendar, email and messages, in the selected focus mode.
To see specific calendars in the selected focus mode, tap Calendar and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required calendars.
To see specific email accounts in the selected focus mode, tap Mail and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required email accounts.
To see messages from specific contacts in the selected focus mode, tap Messages and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required contacts.
To access specific websites in the selected focus mode, tap Safari and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required tab groups.
To select tab groups, they need to be set up in Safari.
To use a specific theme in the selected focus mode, tap Appearance and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required theme.
To use low power mode in the selected focus mode, tap Low Power Mode and follow the instructions on the screen to turn on the function.
Tap arrow left.

Turn activation of focus mode on all devices on or off

Tap the indicator next to "Share Across Devices" to turn the function on or off.
You can activate the same focus mode on all your devices running iOS 15 or later. To turn on the function, you need to activate your Apple ID on your mobile phone.

Add new focus mode

Tap the add icon.
Tap the required focus mode and follow the instructions on the screen to add the selected focus mode.

Delete focus mode

Tap the required focus mode.
Tap Delete Focus.
Tap Delete Focus.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

Turn focus mode on or off

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top right side of the screen.
Tap Focus.
Tap the required focus mode to activate or deactivate it immediately.
Tap the menu icon next to the required focus mode.
Tap the required setting to activate the selected focus mode for a specified period of time or until you leave your current location.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
