Tap the Facebook Messenger icon.
Tap the new message icon.
Tap the search field and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
Tap the required contact.
Tap OK.
Tap the text input field.
Write the required message and tap the send icon.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
