Turning flight mode on my tablet on or off
You can turn off all network connections on your tablet so it can’t cause any interference with sensitive equipment in a plane or a hospital. It's called flight mode. You can still use your tablet when flight mode is turned on, but you can't send email or use the internet.

1. Turn flight mode on or off
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display.
Tap the flight mode icon to turn the function on or off.
Tap the flight mode icon to turn the function on or off.
2. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
