Using GPS navigation in Maps

Want to use GPS navigation in Maps? It's easy, but you need to set up your device for internet and turn on GPS before you can use this function.


List view

1. Find "Maps"

Tap Maps.

2. Plan route

Select one of the following options:
Enter destination, go to 2a.
Select a favourite destination, go to 2b.
Select a previously used destination, go to 2c.
Select a contact address as destination, go to 2d.

3. 2a - Enter destination

Tap Search or Address.
You can also key in points of interest and contacts from the address book.
Key in the required destination and tap Search.

4. 2b - Select a favourite destination

Tap the select destination icon.
Remember, you need to save a favourite location before you can use this function.
Tap Bookmarks.

5. 2c - Select a previously used destination

Tap the select destination icon.
Tap Recents.
Tap the required destination.

6. 2d - Select a contact address as destination

Tap the select destination icon.
Tap Contacts.
Tap the required contact.

7. Start GPS navigation

The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.
Tap the start navigation icon.
Tap Start.

8. Use GPS navigation

If required, tap anywhere on the display.
The navigation window with information about your route is displayed.
The next step is displayed at the top of the display.
Follow the verbal instructions or the instructions on the display to go to the selected destination.

9. Exit navigation

If required, tap anywhere on the display.
Tap End.

10. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
