Choose settings for Find My iPad

Find My iPad enables you to find your tablet if you lose it or you can lock it should it get stolen. To select settings for Find My iPad, you need to activate your Apple ID on your tablet.


List view

Find "Find My iPad"

Tap Settings.
Tap your Apple ID.
Tap Find My.
Tap Find My iPad.

Turn on Find My iPad

Tap the indicator next to "Find My iPad" to turn on the function.

Turn offline finding on or off

Tap the indicator next to "Find My network" to turn the function on or off. If you turn on the function, follow the instructions on the screen to finish the activation.
If you turn on the function, your tablet can use other nearby Apple devices to register its current position via Bluetooth. To use the function, your tablet and Bluetooth need to be turned on.

Turn sending of latest location on or off

Tap the indicator next to "Send Last Location" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on the function, your tablet can send its current position regularly to iCloud using GPS and Wi-Fi networks.

Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
