List of display icons

A number of icons on the standby display show different settings. Follow these easy instructions to getting to know the display icons.


List view

1. Battery

The battery icon shows the remaining battery power. The bigger the coloured section of the icon, the more power.

2. Battery charging

The battery charging icon shows the battery is charging.

3. 3G

The 3G icon shows 3G is available. If 3G isn't available, a different network mode is automatically selected.

3G enables you to achieve higher data speeds than when using other network modes.

4. Signal strength

The signal strength icon shows the strength of the network signal at your location. The more lines, the stronger the signal.

5. Flight mode

The flight mode icon shows flight mode is turned on.

6. Call divert

The divert icon shows all incoming voice calls are diverted.

Divert calls to voicemail
Divert calls to another number

7. Missed calls

The missed calls icon shows you've one or more missed calls.

8. SMS/MMS

The SMS/MMS icon shows you've received a new SMS or MMS.

9. Email

The email icon shows you've received a new email.

10. Silent mode

The silent mode icon shows all sound signals are turned off.

11. Alarm

The alarm icon shows the alarm is set.

12. Active data connection

The active data connection icon shows a data connection is active.

13. HSDPA

The HSDPA icon shows an HSDPA data connection is active.

Select network mode
HSDPA is a high speed data connection which is only available in 3G networks. Your mobile phone automatically switches to HSDPA when it's available.

14. Bluetooth

The Bluetooth icon shows Bluetooth is active.
Further information:
Turn Bluetooth on or off

15. Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi icon shows that your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to Wi-Fi network
When your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can connect to the internet without using the data connections on your mobile phone. Wi-Fi is high speed and no data charges apply when using Wi-Fi.
