I can't start up my mobile phone

Usually, you only need to key in your PIN to start up your mobile phone. If you can't start up your mobile phone, try these simple solutions to solve the problem.

If your mobile phone is network locked to Optus and you try to use a SIM from another operator, the screen will tell that your SIM is invalid.

The phone lock code is used to protect your mobile phone from unauthorised use. If the phone lock code is turned on, it must be entered every time you turn on your mobile phone.

If an incorrect PUK is entered 10 times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently.

Your PIN is associated with your SIM and protects it from unauthorised use. If the wrong PIN is entered, your mobile phone won't start up.

In case you've entered an incorrect PIN three times, you must enter the PUK. If the wrong PUK is entered 10 times, your SIM is permanently blocked and your mobile phone won't start up.
