How to
Use file sharing
You can share files with other devices on your local network by connecting USB storage devices to your modem. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the modem settings menu before you can use this function.
List view
Connect USB storage device
Turn the back of your modem towards you.
Connect a USB storage device to the "USB" port on the back of your modem.
Turn on file sharing
Click Multimedia.
Click Storage Service.
Click the field next to "Enable Samba Server" to turn on the function.
Click Apply/Save to turn on the function.
Create user for sharing
Click User Accounts.
Click Add.
Click the field next to "Username" and key in the required username.
Click the field next to "Password" and key in the required password.
Click the field next to "Confirm Password" and key in the same password again.
Click Apply/Save.
Use file sharing
Open a file manager.
Click the address bar and go to \\192.168.0.1\
Click Username and key in your username.
Click Password and key in your password.
Click OK.
Go to the required file and move or copy it to the required location.
