Start using your modem
Before you start using your modem, you need to follow the instructions below.

Connect DSL connection
Turn the back of your modem towards you.
Connect the grey cable to the "DSL" port in your modem and to the NBN wall socket.
To use an NBN FTTN connection, you need to connect one end of the grey network cable to the "DSL" port in your modem and the other end directly to the wall phone socket.
Please note: you need to remove any existing cables or filters from the wall phone socket in order to use an NBN FTTN connection.
To use an NBN FTTP connection, you need to connect one end of the red network cable to the "WAN" port in your modem. Connect the other end of the red network cable to your NBN Fibre Connection Box.
Connect modem and computer
Connect the yellow cable to the "ETH1" port in your modem and to your computer.
You can also establish a wireless connection to your modem.
Turn on modem
Connect the power supply to the power plug.
Tap On/Off to turn on your modem.
Start configuration of your modem
Open a browser.
Click the address bar and go to http://192.168.0.1
Click the field next to "OptusNet Email Address" and key in your email address.
You can find your OptusNet email address in the welcome letter you've received from Optus.
Click the field next to "OptusNet Password" and key in the password for your email account.
You can find the password for your OptusNet email account in the welcome letter you've received from Optus.
End configuration of your modem
Click Save and Apply.
