Guide to modem buttons and ports
This list shows you what the different buttons and ports on your modem are used for.
List view
Power plug
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a power point.
"DSL" port
Connect the network cable (grey connector) to the "DSL" port.
On/Off
Tap On/Off to turn your modem on or off.
"WAN" port
Connect the network cable (red connector) to the "WAN" port.
"Phone" port
Connect a phone to the "Phone" ports.
"LAN" port
Connect your computer or game console to the "LAN" ports.
WPS button
Tap the WPS button to connect a WPS device.
Wi-Fi button
Tap the Wi-Fi button to turn the Wi-Fi signal on or off.
"Reset" hole
Insert a sharp-pointed object (such as a paper clip) into the small hole next to "Reset" and hold it for at least 10 seconds to restore the factory default settings.
"USB3.0" port
Connect USB storage device to the "USB3.0" port.
Antenna ports
Connect external antennas to the antenna ports behind the cover to boost the signal.
External antennas can be bought separately.
