Changing name and password for my Wi-Fi Hotspot
Want to change name and password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot? Follow these easy instructions.

1. Connect router
Connect your router to your computer's USB port.
2. Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot
Do the following in Mac OS X:
Click the Wi-Fi icon.
Click the Wi-Fi icon.
Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot under the cover.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Join.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

3. Establish a connection to the router web interface
Open a browser.
Key in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.
Highlight the field below "User name" and key in admin

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.

If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.

Highlight the field below "Password" and key in admin

Click Log In.

If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN code" and key in your PIN (default is 0000).

4. Find "WLAN Basic Settings"
Click Settings.
Click WLAN.
Click WLAN Basic Settings.
5. Enter Wi-Fi Hotspot name
Highlight the field next to "SSID" and key in the required name for your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
6. Enter Wi-Fi Hotspot password
Highlight the field next to "WPA pre-shared key" and key in the required password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
7. Save settings
Click Apply.
8. Exit
Click Log Out.
You can now use the new password to establish a wireless connection to the internet.
Click OK to confirm.
