Your router can't find a network

If your router can't find a network, there may be several causes of the problem.

You can check if your SIM is faulty by inserting it into a mobile phone.

Solution: Contact customer service to get a new SIM.

Your router can't find a network if no SIM or a SIM from another service provider has been inserted in your router.

Solution: Insert SIM

The network coverage may differ from area to area. In certain areas it may be so low that it's not possible for your router to get a network connection.

Solution: Download the "My Optus" app on your mobile phone and see the help section in our "5G Home modem setup guide", including optimal placement with regard to your closest 5G tower.
