Guide to modem buttons and ports
This list shows you what the different buttons and ports on your modem are used for.
List view
"Phone" port
Connect a phone to the "Phone" port.
"LAN" port
Connect your computer or game console to the "LAN" port.
"WAN" port
Connect the red network cable to the "WAN" socket.
Back USB port
Connect USB storage device to the back "USB" port.
Factory reset button
Tap and hold the Factory reset button for 7 seconds using a sharp-pointed object (such as a paper clip). Wait while your modem restores the factory default settings.
Socket
Connect a coaxial cable to the coaxial port and to the internet wall socket
Power plug
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a power point.
On/Off
Tap On/Off to turn your modem on or off.
Front USB port
Connect USB storage device to the front "USB" port.
"WiFi" button
Tap the "WiFi" button to turn the Wi-Fi signal on or off.
"WPS" button
Tap the "WPS" button to connect a WPS device.
