Guide to keys and sockets on mobile phone

The list below shows you what the different keys and sockets on your mobile phone are used for.


List view

The Side key

Tap the Side key to turn your mobile phone on or off.
Tap the Side key to turn on the screen lock.
Tap the Side key to access the voice control menu.

The Volume key

Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to adjust the ring volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key during a call to adjust the volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to silence the incoming call alert.

Socket

Connect the charger or data cable to the socket and to a power point or your computer's USB port.
Connect the headset to the socket to listen to music or make a handsfree call. Use the adaptor included to connect other types of headsets to the socket.

Fingerprint sensor

Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to unlock your mobile phone.

Camera lens at the back of your mobile phone

Point the camera lens at the back of your mobile phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.

Camera lens at the front of your mobile phone

Point the camera lens at the front of your mobile phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.
