Set up your mobile phone for SMS
An SMS is a text message which can be sent to other mobile phones. Your mobile phone can send and receive SMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your mobile phone for SMS manually.
List view
Find "SMS centre"
Tap the Left selection key.
Select Settings and tap the Left selection key.
Select Messages and tap the Left selection key.
Select SMS settings and tap the Left selection key.
Select SMS centre and tap the Left selection key.
Enter the message centre number
Tap the Left selection key.
Key in +61411990001 and tap the Left selection key.
Return to the home screen
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
Tap the Left selection key.
Select Settings and tap the Left selection key.
Select Messages and tap the Left selection key.
Select SMS settings and tap the Left selection key.
Select SMS centre and tap the Left selection key.
Tap the Left selection key.
Key in +61411990001 and tap the Left selection key.
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
