Prepare transferring content to new iPhone

You can temporarily back up the phone memory to iCloud when transferring content to a new iPhone. To prepare transferring content to a new iPhone, you need to activate your Apple ID on your mobile phone.

Tap Settings.

Tap General.

Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Tap Get Started.

Tap Get Started and follow the instructions on the screen to select the required settings and back up the phone memory to iCloud. Once you've received your new iPhone, you'll be able to restore the content of the iCloud backup.

Please note that the backup is only available from iCloud for a certain number of days after which you'll need to request extra time before the backup is deleted.

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
