How to
Choose Screen Time settings
Using Screen Time you can get an overview of how much you use your mobile phone and set time limits on the use of selected apps.
List view
Find "Screen Time"
Tap Settings.
Tap Screen Time.
Turn on Screen Time
Tap Turn On Screen Time.
Tap Continue.
Tap This is My iPhone.
Select Downtime settings
Tap Downtime.
Tap the indicator next to "Downtime" and follow the instructions on the screen to select Downtime period.
During Downtime only calls and allowed apps will be available.
Tap Screen Time.
Select time limits for app usage
Tap App Limits.
Tap Add Limit.
Tap the required categories.
Tap Add.
Set the required time limit for use of the selected category.
Select days for time limits of app usage
Tap Customise Days.
Tap the required days.
Select the required period.
Tap Back.
Delete time limits for app usage
Tap Delete Limit.
Tap Delete Limit.
Tap Screen Time.
Select apps that can be used during Downtime
Tap Always Allowed.
Tap the add icon next to the required app to add it to the list of allowed apps during Downtime.
Tap the remove icon next to the required app to remove it from the list of allowed apps during Downtime.
Tap Remove.
Tap Back.
Select settings for content and restrictions
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Tap the indicator next to "Content & Privacy Restrictions" and follow the instructions on the screen to select settings for content and privacy restrictions.
Tap arrow left.
Turn on use of password
Tap Use Screen Time Password and follow the instructions on the screen to select a Screen Time password.
If you turn on the function, you need to key in the password to access Screen Time settings.
Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
