Selecting settings for voice control (Siri) on my device

Want to select voice control settings? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "Siri"

Tap Settings.
Tap General.
Tap Siri.

2. Turn on voice control

Tap the indicator next to Siri to turn on the function.
Tap Enable.

3. Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Select language, go to 3a.
Turn voice feedback on or off, go to 3b.
Select device owner, go to 3c.

4. 3a - Select language

Tap Language.
Tap the required language.
Tap Siri.

5. 3b - Turn voice feedback on or off

Tap Voice Feedback.
You can select if your device should give voice feedback on your voice commands depending on if the headset is connected or not.
Tap Hands-free Only or Always.
You can select if your device should give voice feedback on your voice commands depending on if the headset is connected or not.
Tap Siri.
You can select if your device should give voice feedback on your voice commands depending on if the headset is connected or not.

6. 3c - Select device owner

Tap My Info.
When you select yourself as the owner of the device, your device uses your information for different voice control functions such as navigation to your home address.
Remember, you need to create yourself as a contact in the address book before you can select the owner of the device.
Tap the required contact.

7. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
