How to

Using notifications on my device

You can set your device to display notifications about missed calls, new messages and appointments in the status bar at the top of the display.


List view

1. Find "Notifications"

Tap Settings.
Tap Notifications.

2. Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Select sort order for notifications, go to 2a.
Select settings for notifications, go to 2b.
Organise menu items, go to 2c.

3. 2a - Select sort order for notifications

Tap Manually or By Time.

4. 2b - Select settings for notifications

Tap the required menu item.
To turn display of notifications on or off:
Tap the indicator next to Notification Centre.
Depending on the current setting, the function is turned on or off.
To select the number of notifications:
Tap Show.
Tap the required setting.
Tap the field in the top left corner of the display.
To change display format:
Tap the required format below Alert Style.
Depending on the menu item selected, more settings may be available. Follow the instructions on the display to select the required settings.
Tap Notifications to save the settings.

5. 2c - Organise menu items

Tap Edit.
Tap and hold the organise icon next to the required menu item.
Drag the menu item to the required position.
Tap Done.

6. Use notifications

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
Tap and drag the status bar downwards.
Tap the required notification.
Follow the instructions on the display to use the selected function.

7. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
