How to
Setting up my device for Exchange email
Want to set up your device for Exchange email? Follow these easy instructions.
List view
1. Find "APN Settings"
Tap Settings.
Tap Mobile Data.
Tap APN Settings.
2. Enter APN
Tap APN.

An APN (Access Point Name) is used to establish a connection from your device to the internet.
3. Save settings
Tap Mobile Data.
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
4. Find "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
Tap Settings.
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
5. Create new email account
Tap Add Account....
Tap Microsoft Exchange.
6. Enter email address
Key in your email address.
7. Enter password
Tap Password and key in your password for the server.
8. Enter account name
Tap Description and key in the required name.
Tap Next.
9. Enter server name
Tap Server and key in the required server name.
10. Enter domain name
Tap Domain and key in the domain name.
11. Enter username
Tap Username and key in your username for the server.
Tap Next.
12. Choose synchronisation settings
Tap the indicator next to the required data type to turn synchronisation for the specific data types on or off.
Tap Save.
13. Turn security on or off
Tap the name of the Exchange email account you've just set up.
Tap Account.
Tap the indicator next to Use SSL.
Depending on the current setting, security is turned on or off.

Tap Done.
Tap Done.
14. Select setting for retrieval of new emails
Tap Fetch New Data.
Tap the indicator next to Push to turn the function on or off.
If you turn off Push:
Tap the required period or Manually.
To select settings for a specific email account:
Tap Advanced.
Tap Advanced.
Tap the required email account.
Tap Push, Fetch or Manual.
Tap Advanced.
Tap Fetch New Data.
15. Save and exit
Tap Mail, Contacts... to save the settings.
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
