How to
Turn GPS on or off
Your tablet can determine your geographical position using GPS (Global Positioning System). The information about your location can be used by a number of applications on your tablet such as navigation, the search function or weather forecast.
List view
Find "Location Services"
Tap Settings.
Tap Privacy & Security.
Tap Location Services.
Turn GPS on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on the function, your tablet can find your position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any of the GPS functions on your tablet.
Turn use of GPS position for applications on or off
Tap the required application.
Tap the required setting to turn the function on or off.
Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap Privacy & Security.
Tap Location Services.
Tap the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on the function, your tablet can find your position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any of the GPS functions on your tablet.
Tap the required application.
Tap the required setting to turn the function on or off.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
