Check software version
You can check the software version for your tablet. If you don't have the newest software version, it's recommended you update the tablet software.
List view
Find "About"
Tap Settings.
Tap General.
Tap About.

Your tablet's software version is displayed next to iPadOS Version.
Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
