How to
Write and send SMS
An SMS is a text message which can be sent to other mobile phones. If you can't send and receive SMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM, you can set up your mobile phone for SMS manually.
List view
Find "Messages"
Tap the Navigation key.
Select Messages.
Create new SMS
Select Write message.
Write text
Highlight the text input field, key in the required text and tap the Left selection key.
Select recipient
Select Send to.
Select Add from Phonebook.
Select the required contact.
Send SMS
Tap the Navigation key when you've written your SMS.
Return to the home screen
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
Tap the Navigation key.
Select Messages.
Select Write message.
Highlight the text input field, key in the required text and tap the Left selection key.
Select Send to.
Select Add from Phonebook.
Select the required contact.
Tap the Navigation key when you've written your SMS.
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
