How to
Turn on 5 GHz Wi-Fi
5 GHz Wi-Fi supports faster data speeds than 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi but has a shorter range. If your Wi-Fi signal has unobstructed access from your router to your connected device, and won't need to penetrate walls, it may be an advantage to connect to your router using 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the router web interface.

Find "5GHz"
Click Network.
Click Wi-Fi Networks.
Click 5GHz.
Turn on 5 GHz Wi-Fi
Click the indicator next to "Enable Wi-Fi 5GHz" to turn on the function.
Connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi only
Click the indicator next to "Enable Single SSID" to turn off the function.
When 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Single SSID are turned on, your router's Wi-Fi network will automatically combine the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network into one network and automatically change between the two frequencies depending on which signal is better.
Click OK.
When Single SSID is turned off, your router creates separate networks for 2.4 GHz and for 5 GHz.
You now need to establish a connection to the 5Ghz Wi-Fi network.
By default, the 5 GHz network has the same password as the 2.4 GHz network.
