I can't play music

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 1:

No audio files have been transferred to your mobile phone: Transfer audio files from your computer to your mobile phone.

1. 1. Select USB connection mode

Slide two fingers down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap Settings.
Tap Xperia™ Connectivity.
Tap USB Connectivity.
Tap USB connection mode.
Tap Media transfer mode (MTP).
Tap OK.
Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.

2. 2. Connect mobile phone and computer

Open the cover on the left side of your mobile phone.
Connect the data cable to the phone phone socket and to your computer's USB port.

3. 3. Transfer files

Start a file manager on your computer.
Go to the required folder in your computer's or mobile phone's file system.
Highlight a file and move or copy it to the required location.
