How to
Activate your smartwatch
You need to activate your smartwatch before using it for the first time and after a factory reset.
List view
Turn on your smartwatch
Tap and hold the Home key until your smartwatch is turned on.
Choose language
Tap the language icon.
Tap the required language.
Connect your smartwatch and your mobile phone using Bluetooth
Place your smartwatch next to your mobile phone.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile phone.
Please note, if you're not using a Samsung mobile phone, there may be some differences in relation to the following steps.
On your mobile phone: Tap Galaxy Wearable.
Make sure you've installed the application Galaxy Wearable on your mobile phone.

On your mobile phone: Tap START THE JOURNEY.

Select Samsung account setting
On your mobile phone: To use your Samsung account, tap SIGN IN and follow the instructions on the screen to log on to your Samsung account.
Your Samsung account is used to install new apps, watch faces and more on your smartwatch.
On your mobile phone: To set up your Samsung account at a later time, tap SKIP.

Set up mobile data
On your mobile phone: To set up mobile data on your smartwatch, follow the instructions on the screen to finish setting up your smartwatch.
On your mobile phone: To set up mobile data on your smartwatch later, tap SKIP.

Finish setup
On your mobile phone: When this screen is displayed, your smartwatch is activated and synchronised with your mobile phone.
Tap and hold the Home key until your smartwatch is turned on.
Tap the language icon.
Tap the required language.
Place your smartwatch next to your mobile phone.
