How to
Write and send SMS
An SMS is a text message which can be sent to other tablets and mobile phones. If you can't send and receive SMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM, you can set up your tablet for SMS manually.
List view
Create new SMS
Tap Messages.
Tap the new message icon.
Select recipient
Tap the search field and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
Tap the required contact.
Write text
Tap COMPOSE.
Tap the text input field and write the text for your SMS.
Send SMS
Tap SEND when you've written your SMS.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Tap Messages.
Tap the new message icon.
Tap the search field and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
Tap the required contact.
Tap COMPOSE.
Tap the text input field and write the text for your SMS.
Tap SEND when you've written your SMS.
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
