Turning data roaming on my mobile phone on or off
If you want to avoid using data when you're abroad, you need to turn off data roaming on your mobile phone. Once done, you can only make voice calls, send SMS and use applications that don't require an internet connection. Remember, you need to activate mobile data before you can use this function.

1. Find "Mobile networks"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap the Connections tab.
Tap More networks.
Tap Mobile networks.
2. Turn data roaming on or off
Tap Data roaming to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on data roaming:
Tap OK to confirm.
Tap OK to confirm.
3. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
