If identical contacts appear in the address book, you can merge them so they will appear only once.

Slide your finger upwards on the screen.

Tap Contacts.

Slide your finger right starting form the left side of the screen.

Tap Manage contacts.

Tap Merge contacts.

Tap the field next to the required number.

Tap Merge.

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
