There's no message tone on my mobile phone

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 1:

The message tone has been turned off: Choose message tone. Detailed instructions.

1. 1. Find "Settings"

Tap Apps.

Tap Messaging.

Tap the Menu key.

Tap Settings.

2. 2. Turn on notifications

Tap Notifications to turn on the function.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

3. 3. Choose message tone

Tap Select ringtone.

Tap the different message tones to listen to them.

Once you've found a message tone you like, tap OK.

4. 4. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
