A Bluetooth device can't connect to my mobile phone

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

1. 1. Find "Bluetooth"

Tap Apps.
Tap Settings.
Tap Bluetooth.

2. 2. Turn on Bluetooth

Tap the indicator to turn on Bluetooth.
When the indicator turns green, Bluetooth is turned on.

3. 3. Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 3b.

4. 4. 3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Tap the Menu key.
Tap Device name.
Key in the required name and tap OK.

5. 5. 3b - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Tap the name of your phone at the top of the display to turn Bluetooth visibility on or off.
When the box next to the name is ticked (V), Bluetooth visibility is turned on.

6. 6. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
