How to
Turning back up when roaming on or off
If you want to avoid Optus Smart Safe from using data traffic when abroad, you need to turn off back up when roaming. When back up has been turned off, Optus Smart Safe won't establish a connection to the internet when you're abroad.

1. Find "Settings"
Tap Applications.
Tap Optus Smart Safe.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Settings.
2. Turn back up using Smart Safe when abroad on or off
Tap Back up while roaming to turn back up when abroad on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), back up when abroad is turned on.
Tap the Return key.
3. Exit
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
