Using tethering on my mobile phone
Want to use your mobile phone to establish an internet connection from a laptop or desktop? It's called tethering. It's easy, but first you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.

1. Install Samsung Kies
Go to www.samsungapps.com on your computer.
Find the download section on the website to download Samsung Kies.

2. Connect mobile phone and computer
Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to the computer's USB port.
3. Turn on tethering
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
Tap Applications.
Tap Settings.
Tap Wireless and network.
Tap Tethering and portable hotsp.
Tap USB tethering to turn on tethering.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.
4. Establish connection
An internet connection from your computer via your mobile phone is automatically established.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from your computer.
