How to

Using my mobile phone as Wi-Fi Hotspot

Want to let other mobile phones or computers establish an internet connection using your mobile phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot? It's easy, but first you need to set up your mobile phone for internet and turn off Wi-Fi before you can use this function.

1. Find "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings"

Tap Applications.
Tap Settings.
Tap Wireless and network.
Tap Tethering and portable hotsp.
Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings.

2. Turn on Hotspot

Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to turn on the function.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.
Tap OK to turn Wi-Fi off.

3. Establish connection

Turn on Wi-Fi on the other device.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Select your mobile phone on the list.
Key in the required access code and establish a connection to your mobile phone.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
You can connect up to three devices to your mobile phone.

4. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
