Activating or deactivating data connections on my mobile phone
If you want to avoid using data, you need to deactivate data connections on your mobile phone. Once done, you can only make voice calls, send SMS and use applications that don't require an internet connection.
List view
1. Find "Mobile networks"
Tap Applications.
Tap Settings.
Tap Wireless and network.
Tap Mobile networks.
2. Activate or deactivate data connections
Tap Use packet data to activate or deactivate data connections.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.
If you activate data connections:
Tap OK to confirm.
Tap OK to confirm.
3. Exit
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
