How to

Setting date and time for my mobile phone

Want to set the date and time for your mobile phone? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "Date and time"

Tap Applications.
Tap Settings.
Tap Date and time.

2. Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn automatic date and time update on or off, go to 2a.
Set the date, go to 2b.
Select time zone, go to 2c.
Set the time, go to 2d.

3. 2a - Turn automatic date and time update on or off

Tap Automatic to turn automatic date and time update on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

4. 2b - Set the date

Tap Set date.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.
Tap + or - next to day, month and year to set the date.

Tap Set.

5. 2c - Select time zone

Tap Select time zone.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.
Tap the required time zone.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.

6. 2d - Set the time

Tap Set time.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.
Tap + or - next to hours and minutes to set the time.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.
Tap Set.
The menu item is only available if you've turned off automatic date and time update. See step 2a.

7. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
