Backing up the phone memory on my mobile phone
If you want to update the software on your mobile phone, it's recommended you back up the phone memory. Remember, you need to install Samsung Kies on your computer before you can back up the phone memory. You can download the program from www.samsungapps.com.

1. Connect your mobile phone and the computer
Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to the computer's USB port.
2. Back up phone memory
Start Samsung Kies on your computer.
Select your mobile phone on the list of connected devices.
Select Sync.
Follow the instructions on the screen to copy data from the phone memory to your computer.
