Select 3G as network mode.

1. Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.Tap the settings icon.

3. Tap More networks.

4. Tap Mobile networks.

5. Tap Network mode.

6. Tap LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA only or GSM only.

7. Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Possible cause 1:
3G isn't selected as network mode
Solution:
Select 3G as network mode.
1. Find "Network mode"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap the Connections tab.
Tap More networks.
Tap Mobile networks.
Tap Network mode.
2. Select network mode
Tap LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA only or GSM only.
3. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
