I can't use my tablet as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.
Enter the correct password.
1. Tap the time in the bottom right corner of the display.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap More settings.
4. Tap Tethering and portable hotspot.
5. Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
6. Tap Configure.
7. Key in the required name for the Wi-Fi Hotspot.Tap the drop down list below "Security".
8. If you don't want to password protect your Hotspot:Tap Open.
9. If you want to password protect your Hotspot:Tap WPA PSK or WPA2 PSK.
10. Tap the field below "Password" and key in the required password.
11. Tap Save.
12. Tap the indicator next to "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot" until the function is turned on.
13. If Wi-Fi is turned on:Tap OK to confirm.

14. Do the following on the device which is to connect to your Wi-Fi Hotspot:Turn on Wi-Fi.Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.Select the network name you keyed in in step 2.Key in the password you selected in step 2 and establish a connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
15. Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
Possible cause 1:
The wrong password is entered on the device you want to connect from.
Solution:
Enter the correct password.
Tap the drop down list below "Security".
Tap Open.
Tap WPA PSK or WPA2 PSK.
Tap OK to confirm.
Turn on Wi-Fi.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Select the network name you keyed in in step 2.
Key in the password you selected in step 2 and establish a connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
