How to
Use file sharing
You can share files with other devices on your local network by connecting USB storage devices to your modem. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the modem settings menu before you can use this function.
Connect USB storage device
Turn on file sharing
Create user for sharing
Use file sharing
Click Multimedia.
Click Storage Service.
Click the field next to "Enable Samba Server" to turn on the function.
Click Apply/Save to turn on the function.
Click User Accounts.
Click Add.
Click the field next to "Username" and key in the required username.
Click the field next to "Password" and key in the required password.
Click the field next to "Confirm Password" and key in the same password again.
Click Apply/Save.
Click Go.
Click Connect To Server.
Key in \\192.168.0.1\ and click Connect.
Click the field next to "Name:" and key in your username.
Click the field next to "Password:" and key in your password.
Click Connect.
Go to the required file and move or copy it to the required location.
