How to
Use file sharing
You can share files with other devices on your local network by connecting USB storage devices to your modem. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the modem settings menu before you can use this function.
List view
Connect USB storage device
Turn the back of your modem towards you.
Connect a USB storage device to the "USB" port in your modem.
Turn on file sharing
Click My Media.
Click the indicator next to "File Sharing" to turn on the function.
Click Apply.
Turn file sharing in the Windows settings on or off
Click the Windows search field and key in turn windows features on or off.
Click Turn Windows features on or off.
Click the field next to "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" to turn on the function.
Click OK.
Use file sharing
Open a file manager.
Click the address bar and key in \\192.168.0.1\.
Click the required device.
If you're asked to key in your Windows password, do so and click OK.
Go to the required file and move or copy it to the required location.
