Guide to router keys and sockets
The list below shows you what the different keys and sockets on your router are used for.
List view
Power plug
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a power point.
On/Off
Tap On/Off to turn your router on or off.
"USB" port
Connect USB storage device to the "USB" port.
"WAN/LAN1" port
Connect your computer or game console to the "WAN/LAN1" port.
"LAN2" port
Connect your computer or game console to the "LAN2" port.
"RESET" hole
Insert a sharp-pointed object (such as a paper clip) into the small hole next to "RESET" and hold it for at least 10 seconds to restore the factory default settings.
Antenna ports
Connect external antennas to the antenna ports behind the cover to boost the signal.
External antennas can be bought separately.
The Navigation keys
Tap the Navigation keys to change between the different menu items on your router's LCD screen.
The Selection key
Tap the Selection key to change views or select the different functions displayed on your router's LCD screen.
