Choosing a network for my router
You can set your router to find a network automatically or you can select a network manually by following these easy instructions. Please note: if you select a network manually, the network connection will be lost if you're out of range of the selected network. If you have an active internet connection, you need to end it.

1. Turn on your router
Tap and hold On/Off.
2. Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot
Do the following in Windows:
Click the network icon.
Click the network icon.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot by tapping the WPS key twice in quick succession.
Highlight the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Connect.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click OK.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

3. Establish a connection to the router web interface
Open a browser.
Key in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.

If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN code" and key in your PIN.

Click Log In.

4. Find "Network Settings"
Click Connection Settings.
Click Network Settings.
5. Choose option
Choose one of the following options:
Select network manually, go to 5a.
Select network automatically, go to 5b.
Select network manually, go to 5a.
Select network automatically, go to 5b.
6. 5a - Select network manually
Click the drop down list next to "Mode".
Highlight Manual and click Apply.
Your router will search for networks within range.

The screen will tell you if you have access to the network you've chosen.

7. 5b - Select network automatically
Click the drop down list next to "Mode".
Highlight Auto and click Apply.
8. Exit
Click Log Out.
Click OK.
