Changing my PIN

Want to change your PIN? It's easy, but remember you need to turn on use of PIN before you can change your PIN.


List view

1. Find "Modify PIN..."

Click Tools.
Click PIN Operations.
Click Modify PIN....

2. Change PIN

Highlight the field next to "Current PIN" and key in your PIN.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.
Highlight the field next to "New PIN" and key in a new 4-digit PIN.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.

If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.
Highlight the field next to "Confirm New PIN" and key in the same PIN again.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.
