Saving the message centre number
Your router usually applies the necessary settings to send and receive SMS automatically. If this isn't the case, you can save the message centre number manually.
Tap On/Off to turn on your router.
Do the following in Windows:
Click the network icon.
Highlight the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Connect.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot on the back of your router.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click OK.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.
Open a browser.
Key in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.
Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in admin
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.
Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.
Click Login.

If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 0000).

Click Submit.

Click Services.
Click SMS Settings.
Highlight the field next to "Service center address".
Key in +61411990001
Click Submit.
Click Logout.
Click OK to confirm.
